Yeah, finally turned 25!

I should have put up this post last week when my birthday actually was. Anyway, got a bit lazy and I also had a hard time trying to get to my blog update page due to some unknown computer/internet problem. Well, late is better than never. Yes, so what do I want to do with my next chapter of life. It so happens that the year I turn 25 is the year I have to leave Australia as well as cosy student life to a real world of working and totally being on my own. It sounds a bit scary. But on the bright side, I think being 25 make me a bit more confident as I feel older and can do whatever I want. For example, I can buy and eat as many chocolate as I would like or go on several day trips with whom ever I want. (Of course, I'll have to manage to get leave from work first. =P) So it's not all that bad. Anyway, just want to let everyone know that I'm getting old(er) and feeling really happy about it. =D It's pretty weird, isn't it? Well, that's me. Hehehe =)

Birthday cake for breakfast. Thanks a lot, Jo. =)

A lovely present from Bebb and Peter, thank you soo.. much
And thank you Kathy, Steve and Hannah for the parcel full of wonderful presents which arrived exactly on my birthday. Thanks mom and dad for trying to call me the day earlier and the great blessing and all. I love you all! =)

Where I have been

It's been a while since my last post on the blog. Well, I haven't really got much to talk about since our return from New Zealand. I'm just getting prepared to go home and start working. Most of the days were spent on looking for information about what is going on in Thailand in terms of tourism and the environment. And somehow I got myself addicted to following the property rental and sale market in Bangkok. It's interesting to see what a huge gap there is in the types of accommodations in Bangkok. Anyway, I'm also (trying to) learn some German using the language cd Jo gave me. It's quite fun actually. I can already say things like...Mein Name ist Am. Ich mag Fleisch geessen. Es ist jetzt sechzehn Uhr. It's pretty cool.

Well, it's been raining the whole day and I'm in desperate of finding some interesting things to do. Updating my blog with some photos from my trip in Germany (December 2005) seems to be the most appealing task so far. So here it goes...

Making friend with a cow during an afternoon walk

Afternoon tea during the visit to the ruin of the acient Roman villa

At the landmark of Darmstadt

Christmas market near Darmstadt University

Clearing the thick (Autumn) snow from the footpath

After hours of sleigh riding(with 4 layers of really thick cloth on but I was still freezing!)
